RACING IS BACK ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ . What a morning at @runthroughukโ€™s Tatton 10K. To be honest, the aim was to get round and I did!!!! I actually pleasantly surprised myself with my pace to begin with and just thought TRY AND HOLD ON KID. Never works but hey, it was worth a shot and I found myself really happy with my performance and now totally fired up for alllllllllll the work and goals and getting some normality back! . So nice to see so many familiar faces and special shout out to my bud @spiceyslim_ for the pre-party at the back!!! ๐Ÿ’œ . Well done everyone!! Nice to see so many great results this morning!!! @run_phil_run @caithywalker @mike_hoodless @mrshoodless @marathon.alwyn @road_runner_phil @rachaelmcc88 @running_4_nandos @murphy4mike !! Didnt manage to catch you all but sounds a great morning was had by all ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ

๐Ÿ…First medal of 2020 finally! Today was one of the best dayโ€™s of the strangest year ever! Itโ€™s been 11 months since I last ran a race and like most, I had races booked for Spring that just werenโ€™t meant to be! I feel so bloody lucky to have run today as I should have had major spinal surgery in June which would have seen me out for at least a year but every cloud and at least I get to run a bit longer… Today I ran for the sheer enjoyment. Over the past few years I was able to run quicker and get PBs but this year has seen me unable to walk for periods of time and in more pain than I can describe, but today wasnโ€™t one of those days and Iโ€™m so grateful and happy to just count miles rather than minutes! @runthroughuk @runtatton did such an incredible job today with the organisation and it felt very safe. Thanks to you all for injecting a tiny bit of normality back to life for us runners! Was also lovely to see @bobstogs @run_phil_run and more than anything to run with my love @markinglocations07 ๐Ÿ’—! #runtatton #runthroughuk #sundayrunday #runfam #tatton10k

An absolute beaut of a morning. Well done to the crew at @runthroughuk for trail blazing the way forward for events to safely take place! ๐Ÿ’™ . . Today was never about PBs (donโ€™t believe for a second Iโ€™m not a little bit annoyed I didnโ€™t get close ๐Ÿ˜‚) but about enjoying that race day feeling and seeing all those familiar faces, weโ€™ve missed you all! . . A huge well done to @bobstogs @road_runner_phil (another day another run for this one!) @spiceyslim_ (As brightly lit up as always!) @caithywalker & @markinglocations07 @mrshoodless & @mike_hoodless @rachaelmcc88 @running_4_nandos . . See you at the next one! ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’™
